There has been a huge increase in pet ownership in the UK. The PMFA (Pet Food Manufacturers Association) estimate there are now 17 million (59%) of households that have pets.
Following the Covid-19 pandemic there was a big increase in pet ownership. This extends not only to home owners but also to renters.
Since changes in legislation limiting the maximum security deposit to just 4 weeks rent, many Landlords/Tenants have been unable to reach agreement on Lets with Pets. Previously, extra security deposits could be agreed but this is no longer the case.
Our regular cleaning service offers an opportunity for Landlords and Tenants to overcome the issues posed by the changes in legislation that have already taken place and may take place in the future.

We have a particular focus on the following:
Intensive vacuuming to avoid build up of hairs, for example on curtain linings-if left to build up over time this becomes extremely difficult to clean and will result in expensive dry cleaning. Likewise, sofas and upholstery see a build up of hairs over time. Our intensive vacuuming and brushing prevents this happening, particularly if we attend from the first week of the Tenancy.
Deodorisation-our environmentally friendly cleaning products made from natural ingredients are effective at cleaning odours.
Some pets, especially puppies, can have accidents when they are being trained. Our regular cleaning will address these areas.
Likewise if a kitten is being trained to use a litter tray accidents can occur. Our regular cleaning will address these areas.
Our attendance will also give you peace of mind as we report on our APP what areas have been cleaned due to the pets.

Our lets ‘with pets’ cleaning also includes all of our regular cleaning services. Keeping your property clean throughout a Tenancy is proven to reduce wear and tear in the long term-saving you money and time.
