100% GUARANTEED END OF TENANCY CLEANING FOR TENANT’S, LANDLORDS AND AGENTS
End of Tenancy Cleaning
Are you a Tenant?
Will you be moving out from your rented property soon? Do you want to avoid deductions from your deposit due to cleaning issues?
Partner with 1 Hour A Week and we will ensure you do not incur any deductions due to cleaning oversights.
With decades of experience working with landlords, Agents and Inventory Clerks we have trained our cleaning consultants to ensure there are no omissions and in turn no deductions from your deposit.
In addition, when you book our end of Tenancy cleaning service we will send you a guide on how to prepare your property prior to the arrival of our cleaning consultants. We also provide a FREE guide on how to avoid deductions from your deposit for issues other than cleaning omissions (NB. 49% of deductions from Tenant’s deposits relate to cleaning oversights-see the latest Tenant Deposit Scheme report, (TDS Annual Report 2020-21)
Can 1 Hour A week really provide a guarantee you do not lose any money from your deposit for cleaning deductions? Yes we can. If you incur any additional cleaning charges we will pay them, (see our Terms and Conditions).
If you are available, we will visit your property in the days prior to the clean taking place to complete a pre-clean Inspection and to answer any questions you might have.
We will work closely with you to ensure everything runs smoothly and that your flat or house is in pristine condition prior to your end of Tenancy Check-Out Inspection or the arrival of your landlord to collect the keys.
NB. Please take a look at our 1 Hour A Week in the Community page to see if you will be able to donate any of your unwanted toiletries/cleaning products etc. These products will be cleaned, sanitised and distributed to various homeless charities throughout London.
Are you a Landlord?
Have cleaning issues cost you time and money? Have you ever had a Tenant complain about ‘the cleaning?’
If you have been a landlord for any length of time the answer to both of these questions will almost certainly be ‘yes.’
If your Tenant vacates and does not leave your property clean it could have a significant impact on your future plans and can cost you time and money.
If viewings are taking place you are less likely to find a new Tenant if the property is not clean. If you are looking to sell the property or move back in yourself, arranging further cleaning can be time consuming, causing unnecessary delays and unnecessary stress.
Employ 1 Hour A Week as your cleaning partner and preferred choice for pre and end of Tenancy cleaning and all of these potential problems will be avoided.
You can recommend our service to your Tenants to ensure your property will be ready for a new Tenancy, your move back in or for photographs to be taken if you are looking to sell.
We provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee (see our Terms and Conditions)
We have corporate packages and incentive programmes for Letting Agents/Property Management companies.
Call us or email us for more information or to book a meeting to discuss your requirements and to see how much time and money 1 Hour A Week will save your company.
Our extensive training programme ensures our Cleaning Consultants will not miss any areas. Prior to signing off any clean a supervisor will walk around the entire property. In the event of issues they will be remedied at the time. If for any reason something could not be fully cleaned-for example indelible mould to a washing machine, or ingrained limescale our Cleaning Consultant inform our customer service team immediately. We will then pass this information on to you in order that you are aware.
We provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Working with 1 Hour A Week will save you money and time.
If you have worked in the Residential Property market for any length of time you will have heard these complaints on multiple occasions. We know Tenant’s and Landlords can be liable to exaggeration, but why leave any element of doubt?
Are You a Letting Agent/Managing Agent/Property Manager?
A sticky cooker hood, a hair on the Bathroom floor, dusty skirting boards, residue inside the washing machine drum ring, limescale, missed cupboards etc… Sound familiar?
How much time have you wasted dealing with issues which have been highlighted after a professional clean has taken place?
How many times have you received a Check-In or Check-Out Report highlighting cleaning issues even after a professional clean has been carried out?
How many times has a Tenant moved in to a property, only within hours to send a long list of cleaning omissions?
How often has a landlord complained about the quality of a professional clean?
Here at 1 Hour A Week we have taken our decades of experience in the property industry to work with Property Managers and landlords to develop a system which make omissions/oversights and complaints a thing of the past.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q&A
Ideally you should book your end of Tenancy clean to take place 24 hours before your end of Tenancy Inspection is due to take place. Try not to leave it to the last minute and conversely do not book the clean too early. If you book the clean for 3 hours before your property Inspection this invariably leads to problems. Likewise, if you book the clean too early, people may come in and out of the property, dust may settle, dead insects may end up on window sills etc. and so when your Inspection takes place this could potentially result in you incurring additional cleaning charges.
It is human nature to leave everything until the last minute, but if you plan ahead you will avoid the possibility of potential problems. There is a lot to co-ordinate during a move but it can be done. If you need any help or guidance please contact us by phone or email.
At your move out Inspection everything will be checked by an Inventory Clerk/Landlord/Agent. In simple terms an end of Tenancy move out clean covers everything within the property. Of course there are a number of considerations that need to be taken into account. For example if you live on the 32nd floor of a high rise apartment it is unlikely the external windows can be cleaned(normally this will be the job of the block managing Agent). When booking your end of Tenancy clean we will ask for this information to ensure that both you and we are aware of what may not be included.
It is essential you move all personal belongings prior to the clean getting started. Effectively your property should be completely empty. This will save everyone time and ensure the cleaners can focus entirely on cleaning rather than having to concern themselves if something should be thrown away, moved or left etc. The only items left should be landlord items or belongings which were present when you moved in to the property-NB-check your Inventory if you are unsure-if you cannot find a copy of your move in Inventory ask your Agent or Landlord to send you a copy).
1 Hour A Week has a genuine understanding of the stress and time constraints involved when you are moving home. We give a time of arrival and we stick to it. We have a 15 minute window either side of the appointed time. In the unlikely event of any delays we will keep you informed. If we fall outside of the time agreed we will refund the time lost on a pro rata basis as agreed.
We have worked with tens of thousands of Landlords/Tenants and Agents. Time and again the same oversights and omissions occur. Be it cobwebs, hairs on floors, dust behind furniture, dust on Venetian blinds or washing machine dispenser drawers etc-there is a long list. Our Cleaning Consultants receive comprehensive training before they are sent out on jobs(unlike many of our competitors). They have a set routine to follow and more importantly before signing off a clean they go around the entire property to ensure nothing has been missed.
It is true you could clean the property yourself. But this will just add to the stress of moving home. By outsourcing the cleaning to 1 Hour A Week you will save yourself time, energy and anxiety. Moving home is time consuming and often hurried. This could mean you miss areas which may result in deductions from your deposit. Our 100% satisfaction guarantee will allow you to concentrate on more important things like setting up your new home. Save yourself the stress and sweat by booking our end of Tenancy cleaning service here.
Our years monitoring and researching cleaning companies work showed there was a significant increase in complaints from Tenants/Agents/Landlords/Homeowners following cleaning undertaken on Sundays. We believe our hardworking team deserves time to refresh, enjoy family time at the weekend and to come back to work on Monday morning reinvigorated and Inspired to serve their clients.
If the last day of your Tenancy falls on a Sunday you should speak to your Agent/Landlord to ask for the Check-Out Inspection to take place the next day-Monday. If this is the case we can complete your end of Tenancy clean on the Saturday before, but it is essential you ensure nobody enters the property prior to your Check-Out Inspection taking place on the following Monday. Ideally, if you have already vacated you could arrange for your Check-Out Inspection to take place on the Saturday after the cleaning has been completed. When you give your one or two months notice to vacate your property, start planning immediately. Do not leave things until the last minute. There is lots to do(see our move out guidance and refer to our full guide if you sign up for our end of Tenancy cleaning service). Please feel free to contact us if you require any additional advice or assistance.
